Kim has over 20 years of business and executive experience in one of the world’s most successful companies. During her accomplished corporate tenure, she held officer roles leading the company’s global compliance and energy organizations, as well as leadership roles across the real estate division. She has a wealth of retail experience with a focus on establishing and managing external partner relations. Her vast experience includes the development of new businesses, strategic planning and process implementation, profit & loss responsibility in excess of $1B, and corporate organization alignment. As the Vice President of Energy for Walmart, she developed the company’s US renewable procurement strategy and led the team responsible for implementation, resulting in significant renewable growth, millions of dollars in energy expense savings and Walmart’s recognition by SEIA as the US’s largest onsite generator of solar energy. She also served as Executive Champion within the Wal-Mart Global Sustainability Network leading the implementation of renewable and energy efficiency projects among global operating divisions. Core strengths include creating individual talent and enterprise wide organizational structure, developing high performing individuals resulting in high performing teams, and integrating key metrics linking effective strategy and leadership to bottom line results.

In addition to her corporate experience, Kim serves as a member of the Department of Energy’s distinguished Clean Energy, Education and Empowerment Ambassador Group and as a member of the Board of Directors for Solar Sister and Empower-A-Child, international non-profit organizations working to empower women and children in developing countries through entrepreneurship, education and targeted development programs. She is a Board Certified Executive and Leadership Coach, a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Attorney.
